Now in there final homes, three paintings to inspire connection with nature and happy memories of long summer days to inspire being in wild places, and nowhere is better than the unspoilt beaches of St Martin's, Isles of Scilly.

Painted in acrylic and really trying to capture the beautiful blue of the Scilly sea, a place that I've visited since I was a child, with many memories of shell collecting, digging in the sand and swimming in the cold cold waters of the North Atlantic.

Scilly is fully aware of the challenges offered by climate change, these low lying islands, protected by sand dunes, on St Martin's urgent restoration is happening with replanting of the marram grass. You can see year on year the impact of erosion and shifting sands forced by tides and ocean currents. Making their remote location off the end of Land's End all the more acute.

Scilly is a stunning, remote and wild corner of the uk - if you're interested in a commission please contact me info@sarahsidders.co.uk or use the 'contact me' link.
